House by the lake Värmeln i Värmskog-Värmland

House with 5+2 beds at Värmelns strand in Värmskog-Värmland.

4 bedrooms of which 1 bedroom is located in a detached cottage of 25 m2 with its own shower and toilet. It is possible to rent only the large house without the detached cottage. We dont have both houses for rent separately to different guest companys at the same time.
There is waterborne underflour heating in the big house and electric underfloor heating in the smaller house.

Inside;
Bedroom 1 downstairs = 1 double bed.
Bedroom 2 downstairs = 1 single bed.
Bedroom 3 upstairs = 2 single beds.
Bedroom 4 in the small house = 1 double bed.
Living room with wood burning stove for rough autumn evenings.
Kitchen with seats for 7 persons.
Hallway.
1 bathroom with toilet, showercabin, wachingmachine and dryingkabinet in the main house.
1 bathroom with toilet and shower in the smaller house.
Towels and bedlinen is included in the rental for all guests.
Fiber connection and guest account to movie/series-app on smart-TV are available as well as play channels.

Outside;
Gas grill perfect for grilling the perch.
Large terrace and lovely lawn for play and games and with a huuuge trampoline.
Even if you most of the time will find yourself enjoying the peace and silence that the surrounding nature will give you, there will be times that you also will hear a child laughter or a neighbor walking by, since there are other houses in the surroundings.

Fishing in southern Värmeln!
It is possuble to rent a boat as fallows;
-A row-boat with electric engine and 2 rodholders.
-A little bigger open boat with regular 40 hp engine and with 6 rod holder mounted.
-2 fisching kayaks.

Fishing licenses for southern Värmeln's fishing conservation area is required and are purchased online on “ifiske”.
The boat dock is located 80 m in front of the house where a berth is available for use and is included in the rent if you choose to bring your own boat. Otherwise, it works nicely to stand on the jetty fishing the perch =) (fishing rod and life jacket are available to borrow).

If you don't feel like fishing, there are many destinations and sights that you can reach on foot if your breath falls on (otherwise you can drive near most places).

Hiking, nature experiences and attractions!
- Silver trail (hiking trail), about 3 km distance from the house.
- LM Eriksson Memorial Garden/museum about 3.5 km distance from the house (museum open in summer).
- Silvergruvorna about 5 km distance from the house.
- Glaskogen Nature Reserve, about 50 km distance from the house (for more info see Glaskogen's website).

Shopping and restaurants!
- Värmskog's famous shrimp-café only about 20 minutes walk or 10-15 minutes boat ride from the house (open all year).
- Värmskogs (lyxury) restaurang Virmil is located next to the schrimp-café, a 20 minutes walk or a short boat trip from the house (see virmils homepage for more info and menu).
- Degerbyns locally grocary-shop about 7 km, nearest place if you need groceries (open all year round).
- Klässbol about 17 km, here is the famous linen weaving shop. “Linneväveriet” in Klässbol are royal court suppliers and deliver tablecloths for the Nobel Dinner. There is also the popular café Kaffekvarnen, which is open in the summer.
- Grums about 20 km, here you have BOFAB fishing shop, grocery stores Coop and ICA, gas station. Here you can arrive by train.
- Borgvik about 20 km, incredibly nice environment among the cabin ruins at both Värmeln and Vänern beach. From here, some iron was delivered to the Eiffel Tower in Paris a long time ago. There is also Sliperiet, a popular (luxury) restaurant. It is possible and a pleasant nature experience to go to Borgvik waterway in the summer.
- Arvika about 30 km, cozy summer town and the popular "arvika-martén" which is usually held the first weekend in October, here you will also find among other things the racksta-museum and popular vehicle museum as well as supermarkets and slightly different unique shops in the innercity, especially in crafts. You can arrive to Arvika by train and here you can also rent a car.
- Karlstad about 50 km (city of residence), lovely city of culture, specially in the summer. Here you will find, among other things, the swedish famous artist Lars Lerins Museum, IKEA and two large shopping centers (Bergvik Shopping Center and Välsviken Shopping Center).

Swimming!
In the summer there are good opportunities for swimming in Värmeln.
- There is a bathing area 80 meters in front of the house, otherwise there are nice small beaches to get to by boat.
- “Långeudde” beach, about 3 km, public bathing area, you can reach this beach by boat, foot or car.

Winter!
There are several nice ski slopes within an hour's drive of the house, including:
- "Rackstabacken in Arvika, about 40 km.
- Frykstabacken in Kil, about 50 km.
- Valfjället, about 80 km.
It is possible to store ski equipment in a locked space next to the house.
