This picturesque cottage with it’s lush and protected garden is situated along the village street. The kitchen is newly renovated and equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove, oven, toaster, electic kettle and coffepercolator. There is a bedroom with 4 beds, a livingroom/bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower and WC (the entrance to the bathroom is from the garden). In the garden there is also a small guesthouse with two beds. There is garden furniture, a barbecue and two patios from which you can enjoy the sun in the morning or the sunset over the Baltic and the mainland. The cottage has warmwater heated by the sun and solar cells on the roof.
Vickleby, on the southern part of Öland is marked as UNESCO world heritage. Very near in the village there are some cafées and a restaurant, as well as the famous Capellagården – an art and design school with a beautiful biodynamic garden. There are plenty of nature trails to enjoy outside the village on the heath Allvaret, with it’s special flora and fauna, as well as trails through meadows and fields. It’s only 3 km to the beaches Haga Park, a legendary windsurfing mecka, and Sandbergen, a great place for kitesurfers.

After the bridge to Öland - Continue for about 2 km, then turn right towards Ottenby (road 136) - continue south about 9 km to Vickleby. Turn right at the sign "Capellagården", the cottage is the third one on the left side Pensionatsvägen 5.
