Near the national park

The Åsnen area with the national park is popular for outdoor activities and experience Åsnen's “Big Five”: moose, sea eagles, cranes, osprey and black-throated diver. Excellent fishing and many islands. The national park's main entrance Sunnabron is within a short distance from the house.
It is a nice bike ride to the national park, follow the Banvallsleden (cycle path), which also takes you around Åsnen
with many nice swimming spots and attractions.
You are in the middle of the "Apple Kingdom" with unique fruit trees,
there are farm shops with apple juice and locally grown vegetables, fish smokery, along the roads.
Nearby are Huseby Bruk, Kyrkö Mosse-Bilkyrkogård, Växjö, Linnés Råshult, IKEA - Museum, Glasriket,
"Loppis" - flea markets and antiques.

A nice and spacious holiday family house, with a nice footpath down to lake Åsnen.
The house is on a hill with a nice view of the surroundings.

The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, cooker /oven, woodburner-oven, 
fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker
and a cosy eating area with table and chairs
Highchair is available.
Bathroom with shower, WC and a washing machine.
Downstairs is one bedroom with 1 double bed.
There is a large living room furnished with sofas and TV (German satellite).
Further onto diningroom with a woodburner.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two with 1 double bed in each and the third with 120cm wide bed.
Extra bed and cot are available.

A large lovely garden with outdoor furniture and BBQ.
Just a short walk (250m) to lake Åsnen, here is great fishing and a boat to use.
There are also bikes to borrow, the bike trail goes just outside the garden!
