Charming, wonderful summer house, southern Sweden

Charming, modern holiday dream house for rent on the Baltic Sea coast in southern Sweden, seven kilometers south of Åhus.

Half a mile (800 meters) from the kilometer-long sandy beach at Ålakusten, at the Baltic Sea in eastern Scania, southern Sweden, on a 1300 sqm pine wooded, enclosed, natural plot (excellent for dogs), lies this vacation house (57 sqm) with annex (30 sqm) with the possibility for accommodation for a larger family or two smaller families. The two houses are next to each other, a total of 85m2, with a large terrace between the houses.

The main house is a so called West Coast cottage, and the annex is built in the same style. The main house has three rooms, kitchen, bathroom with shower, constant access to hot water. The two bedrooms have two plus one adult beds. The living room goes together with dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped: ceramic hob (not induction), oven, dishwasher, fridge / freezer, kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, cutlery etc. for two families. The living room is equipped with a wood-burning stove - lovely during damp evenings! TV is available. Fiber optics connected, broadband available during the summer.

The annex has two rooms, the larger with a double sofa bed, the smaller with two adult beds. There is a shower (hot water), toilet and washing machine and a small space for cooking facilities. The larger room has glass doors to the terrace in the south.

A 30 sqm wooden deck connects the main cabin with annex, a smaller terrace with infra-red heating is partly located under the roof of the main cabin. Both terraces have outdoor furniture.
Barbecues and bicycles (currently three) are available, suitable for shorter cycle trips.

The plot and the house are in relative seclusion at the end of a return road and with walk-friendly pine forest behind. 800 m it is to the sea, to kiosk and mini golf.

The tennis courts - with easy access to times - are 200 meters from the cottage. To the village's shop it is about one kilometer and to Åhus it is 7 km.
