Why not make a combo and take the new shuttle boat (about 15 minutes' walk from the house and an hour's boat ride) for a visit to Stockholm. By car or bus you can reach Stockholm in about 20 minutes.

The spacious house of approx. 180 m2 has an open and well-thought-out floor plan to optimize views and light. Windows in different heights, shapes and directions provide wonderful contact with the beautiful woodland and the archipelago. Skylights for extra light and a gable facing the lake side with windows right up to the roof ridge that promise a wonderful view.

In the welcoming hall you are immediately greeted by the beautiful view and large space with the open floor plan to the living room and kitchen as well as openness to the upper floor.
To the left is bedroom 1, Master bedroom en suite with double bed 180cm, wardrobes and desk. On the other side of the hall you will find bedroom 2, single bed 120 cm, wardrobe.
These bedrooms have electric blackout blinds.

The fantastic family room has exits to the terrace, dining area for up to 8 people, stove, sofa and armchairs. The windows have electric blinds.
On a slightly raised part in the open plan towards the family room, you will find the focal point of the house, the well-equipped kitchen with good work surfaces and bar counter.

Large inviting bathroom of approx. 30 m2, (SPA room) sauna with window and a spacious bathtub where you can lie and look out over the bay. There is an exit to the balcony so you can take a dip in the pool. Shower and toilet are of course also in this luxurious bathroom.
Adjacent is a laundry room with washing machine and a drying rack.

Upstairs you are struck by breathtaking space and light. In the main part of the house there are 2 armchairs in front of the window wall, the perfect place for contemplation, or maybe spend time with a good book. Comfortable sofa corner with Smart TV, office area with desk.

(The pool and deck will be renovated and upgraded for summer 2024). Other things you have access to include lounge furniture, hammock, outdoor shower and a wood-burning bathtub. And of course a barbecue.
The well-kept grounds have woodland, nice plantings and a flat grassy area for play. There are swings, a climbing rope, a trampoline and other fun for children. As the finishing touch, there is a private campfire where you can grill over an open fire. Keep an eye out when it's quiet on the plot you will surely see some forest animals visiting!

Mörtnäs is an attractive and coastal archipelago area near Stockholm and centrally located on Värmdö with very good communications and all services within walking distance. The house is quietly located close to larger natural areas and beaches.

Scenic surroundings with nice walking paths and proximity to large outdoor areas with exercise tracks and hiking trails. Within walking distance (approx. 500 m) is one of Värmdö's largest beaches; Grisslinge sea bath with bakery/patisserie and service by the beach. There is also a playground, beach volleyball and other activities here. Guests are given access to the private part of Grisslingestranden with jetty and jumping tower that belong to the property owners in the area. Walking distance also to Värmdö shopping center approx. 1.5 km, a complete center with well-sorted shops, cafes and restaurants.

Distance to Stockholm 27 km (approx. 20 min. by car). Very frequent bus connections (approx. 20 min. journey by direct bus to Stockholm). There is also shuttle a boat.
