Wonderful Villa by the Lake

Spend your vacation in our wonderful villa right by the lake Norra Wixen in the heart of Småland´s highlands. The house has four large bedrooms, two bathrooms, livingroom, kitchen and a large terrace with marvellous view over the lake!

The house is situated 7 km outside the beautiful town Eksjö, with its old wooden houses dating all the way back to the 17th century. The location is perfect for both families, close to many different activities and still a very private place in the middle of the woods and right by the lake where you may take a bath or go fishing whenever you like! It´s also perfekt if you love to play golf - there is a very nice golf course within walking distance!

The house is uniquely placed right by the lake, surrounded by water. You actually have a view over the lake from every window in the house! There is also a large wooden terrace around the house, where you may sit and marvel at the view. The teraace is also a great place for a barbecue, unless you wouldn´t rather like to barbecue over an open fire at the fire place by the lake.

The house has four large bedrooms, with two beds in each room. The master bedroom is more than 20 m2, with a king size bed, door to the terrace and a beautiful view. The oter bedrooms are about 12 m2, with two single beds in each room. There are two bathrooms of high standard, one with jacuzzi and the other with shower and washing machine. Livingroom with television, stereo and open fire. Fully equipped kitchen with big fridge and freezer, stove with oven, microwave oven, dishwasher. The house has been rebuilt and redecorated between 2003 - 2007 and is of very high standard.

Boat, fire wood, electricity included. Good fishing, for example perch and pike. Nice, private bathing.

There are lots of activities nearby. Eksjö is a lovely little town, especially in the summer, with old wooden houses, small stores and several restaurants. Eksjö even has its own Tattoo in august! It is only 60 km to Astrid Lindgrens World - a must for the children. If you wish you can also visit Kleva Gruva outside Vetlanda, an old cave you can go down into. You may even try to find some gold, if you visit Ädelfors (25 km). If you love shopping it is only 50 km to Jönköping, with several shopping centres. You may also want to visit "Glasriket", where the famous Swedish art glass is made. It is only about 80 km to Kosta and Boda for example. In Kosta there is also a big outlet for clothes and furniture.

If you rather stay at home there are many small roads to walk, and the forest is all around the house - take a walk in it and you might fins different kinds of mushrooms, berries (blueberries, lingonberries and wild rasberries). You may be lucky and catch a glimpse of a deer, or even of an elk!
