Welcome to a charming 19th-century house with a wild garden that offers you privacy from the outside world. Here you will find two wood stoves, two tile stoves, creaking wooden floors, bird chirping, and fantastic neighbours. Moreover, the property is only 200 meters away from a cozy public beach and boat dock.

Upon your arrival, I will welcome you and give you tips on excursions. You can take the boat, which is included in the rent, and go to a sauna raft or hike along the "järnsjöleden" trail (the trail passes about 150 meters from the house) and visit the Bjurbäckens locks.

The property was built in 1860 and is fully functional with many charming details such as log walls, wood stoves, tile stoves, and a beautifully overgrown garden.

When you rent the property, a boat with a 10 horsepower engine is also included, making it easy to navigate the lake system of 16 lakes. You can even pass through the locks and visit Bjurbäckens locks to enjoy a waffle or two. For fishing enthusiasts, there is plenty of pike in the lake, but fishing equipment is not included. A sauna raft is located about 20 minutes away by boat and can be easily booked online.

On the lower floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen with both a wood stove and an electric stove with an oven, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher. There is also a living room with a TV and tile stove, a hall, and a small toilet. The upper floor consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with a single bed, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. The back has a lovely patio with outdoor furniture and a grill, as well as an outdoor shower.

In the yard, there is also a spacious glamping tent with a large double bed, electricity, lamps, a shower, a camping toilet, and a lovely little terrace to enjoy those summer evenings.

The area around Lungsund is incredibly beautiful and offers wonderful walking trails along the "järnsjöleden" trail with forests, bogs, and lakes. There are also great opportunities for running and cycling, and about a kilometer from the property along the "järnsjöleden" trail, there is a barbecue area by a lake. Kristinehamn and Filipstad are only 20 minutes away by car, while Bjurbäckens locks are only 10 minutes away. You can reach Karlstad in about 45 minutes.

For rent from Saturday to Saturday.
Check-in at 4:00 pm - Check-out at 11:00 am
Water, heating, electricity, and garbage collection, wifi are included.
Bed linen is included.
Towels are included.
No pets allowed due to allergy concerns.
Smoking is prohibited indoors.
The tenant is responsible for performing the final cleaning after the stay. Final cleaning means that the garbage is taken out, the fridge/freezer is emptied, and the floors are roughly cleaned.
