Cozy mountain cabin in Umfors/Hemavan

Welcome to our mountain cottage of 60 sqm with six beds in beautiful Umfors. The cottage is just right for one or two families who want nature and tranquility on their doorstep. It is located 20 km north of the village of Hemavan and a few hundred meters from Lake Överuman and the Umeälven inlet, both of which offer good fishing winter and summer. In addition, there is a child-friendly swimming spot nearby in the summer.

The cottage is located with nice views of the mountains Lusphobben and Artfjället, where several hiking trails take you up to nice vantage points and good fishing in the ponds. From here you can also easily reach the hiking and snowmobile trails towards Glimmerstugan and Tärnasjön.

Hemavan's ski area is 20 km away, with 29 slopes, ten lifts (including the gondola lift), three children's areas, a snowpark and a skicross track. There are also nice cross-country skiing trails. Outside the cabin knot you can go touring skiing on both the mountain and the lake.

The cottage has three separate bedrooms, two toilets and washing machine with tumble dryer. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as good clothing storage in drawers and wardrobes. There is a stove, a small sauna, ski storage room, drying cabinet and double car engine heaters. Duvets and pillows are included for all beds.

The nearest grocery store is in Umfors and in Hemavan there is an Ica store, a Systembolag and restaurants.

TV and wifi are not in the cabin yet. Fiber is in the works, unclear when though. However, the 4g coverage in the area is good.
