Beautiful and private waterfront summer residence on one of the most attractive and charming Isands in the Stockholm Archipelago, Möja. Sun all day and a stunning sunset makes outdoor living easy.
There are several self contained houses perfect for families searching for generational living, or friends wanting to share a holiday. The property has excellent broadband.
There are passenger ferry boats to and from the Island several time per day. They leave from central Stockholm, Vaxholm and Sollenkroka, Värmdö. Taxi boat service is also available.
There are two modern houses in top condition, built in the traditional Archipelago style. Beautifully furnished and fully equipped with amenities. There is also an additional sleeping hut. In total, these three buildings sleep 13 people. There is also the option of renting a charming guesthouse with 4 additional beds (and kitchen) if more capacity is needed.
THE BOATHOUSE, full of character right on the seafront, has a wonderful wood fired sauna and opens up onto a big decking area. This is a superb space for socialising, BBq-ing and enjoying the summer day and evening.
The decking area also leads onto the dock, where several boat can be moored. Jumping and diving from the dock as well as sunbathing, fishing etc is perfect. Right next to this there is a sandy beach, and directly behind this, there is a big flat lawn ideal for play and sporting activities.
THE ISLAND OF MÖJA is well known and visited for its charm, position and facilities. There are five small villages occupied by families who have lived there for generations. A population of summer guests visit every year and it makes the Island both lively and attractive.
There are two grocery stores and several places to eat, including a fish restaurant serving local catch of the day and a la carte menu, a Pizza restaurant, a pub, and several cafes.
The community house provides a cinema and the occasional market, as well as evening activities including dancing and live music! There is also a pub, serving beverages and food. The pub also organise evening events, where local bands also frequent.
Handicraft shops, tourist information and boat excursions are also available. The charming picturesque church is well worth a visit. Other accessible activities include walking, jogging, bicycling canoeing/kajaking (renting is available on Island), swimming in the sea or lakes. Berry and mushroom picking are summer/autumn activities.
MAIN HOUSE, 130 m2
A modern two level house built in the traditional archipelago style. It has an open plan living arrangement on the ground floor. There is a fully equipped designer kitchen with dining for 8 people (+4 pers). There are adjoining seating areas beautifully furnished with a wood fire. There is a family bathroom with laundry facilities.
There are two entrances to the lower floor: The main entrance is comprised of two doors opening up to a big decking area with several dining and sitting areas furnished with teak tables and chairs. It gives a wonderful view looking out over the sea. The second entrance opens up onto the meadow stretching into the forest located behind the house.
The bedrooms and library are located on the upper floor. The master bedroom (Dux beds) has an ensuite large bathroom and large balcony overlooking the sea. There are a further three single bedrooms with wardrobe space. There is a big balcony overlooking the meadow at the back. The library overlooks the boathouse, lawn, beach and cliffs providing a beautiful view to sit and look out over. There is also a wood fire to create that extra cosy feel after an evening in the sauna and sea!
GUESTHOUSE no1, 40 m2
The entrance opens onto a small hallway space, with an adjoining bathroom. Once in the central living area, this is once again an open plan space. It is fully equipped with a kitchen, big dining area, wood fire and six handmade bunk beds. These are made of oak and are 120cm wide, providing very comfortable sleeping.

Lovely view from its own decking area with chairs and table. The inside offered two beds and a small sitting area.
GUESTHOUSE no2, part of 40m2 boathouse. Can be rented extra on request.
This charming and genuine house is a pearl and an original! The character and style has been retained. It is supported by a foundation that connects the cliff with the sea, and when in the house you can hear the waves beneath you and to the side- a truly unique experience!
It has a fully equipped kitchen with a view overlooking the sea directly beneath the window. There is a bedroom with two beds, with an adjoining alcove with a bunkbed. The sitting room has a wood fire and again, the window offers a spectacular view of the beautiful sea. We recommend this spot as one of many fantastic places to sit and enjoy the sun setting over the horizon.
The decking outside has a sitting area and connects this part of the house with the boathouse, which has shower and washing facilities. For lavatory purposes, there is an outhouse.
Möja can be reached by regular passenger ferry services (several times per day) from central Stockholm, Waxholm or Sollenkroka. There are also taxi boat service.
