Since we came to Sweden from Italy for the first time, we wanted to try a true typical swedish wooden country house. The house of the poet in Resaro completely fulfilled our expectations: large and comfortable (we were two families, each one made by 4 members), every piece of the furniture carefully chosen to match with the house, a wide kitchen perfectly equipped, the nice garden where we could dine, see woodpeckers and deers or just lay on the grass, we were enchanted! In a few minutes of walk you can find little beaches, a tennis playground, a little supermarket open 7 days a week, nice walks to the shore. Within an hour by ship (from Vaxholm) you can go in the heart of Stockolm and have a look to the fascinating Stockolm's archipelago. If you love nature, in the surroundings there are paths in protected areas or you can land a kayak and discover the fjords. Places likeUppsala, Skokloster Castle, Sigutna are within an hour by car. Last but not least Holger hospitality is exquisite!
