The apartment is located on Mellböda Gård, an old farm and nowerdays a popular excursion destination. Your children have free access to the playbarn (good if the weather is bad!), can check the guessing outhouse, can visit the chickens that run freely in the garden or can play at the water playground with a garden pump. We also run Sweden's first 2-dimensional café and the former cowshed has been changed into a gallery.

Mellböda is a small village that belongs to Böda, which is about 50 km north of Borgholm. Böda is one of Sweden's best holiday spots with a cozy boat harbour, a well-stocked Ica store, various summer shops, restaurants, pub, bakery, café and mini golf. The apartment "Under the rainbow" was built in 2012 and consists of a large living room with kitchen and a unique sleeping castle, a bedroom, a bathroom with shower and toilet. In the kitchen there is a stove with oven, fan, microwave and fridge with a little ice compartment. The apartment is specially furnished for families with small or smaller children. Cot, baby cot, babysitter, barbecue and garden furniture are available. An air conditioning is available and can be booked if needed. However, we do not offer television and no internet connection! Municipal water. ATTENTION! We do not allow more than a maximum of 2 adults + 4 minor children (or 2 youths). The large number of beds is to be able to spread out optimally.

We allow one (1) dog under certain conditions.
