With a lovely view towards Långvikskär, in the south east of the archipelago and with a private location you will find this cottage. On the large patio there is room for relaxation, meals and sunbathing. Yet it is near (150 metres) to the supermarket (ICA Guns Livs), tavern (Nämdö Kök & Bar) and the Waxholmsbryggan. The back of the cottage faces the forest, where you during late summer find mushrooms and berries. Here is also room for enjoying the mix of sea and forest scent and perhaps see a few of the islands deer. If you wish to swim it is just 200 metres down to a private jetty and cliffs, and if you wish for a more children friendly swimming spot, there is one about 1,3km from the cottage.

The cottage consists of two bedrooms (two singles in one and a double bed, 120 cm, in the other), a living room and kitchen with cooker and fridge/freezer. A basic wash room with a wash basin and water. On the patio a separate cottage with an additional four berths (bunk beds). Classic outhouse.

Unfortunately the open fireplace is not currently working. There is a pantry with hobs and a barbeque available.

When renting for a minimum of two weeks bed linen is included.

Directions:
Waxholm’s boat departure from Stavsnäs vinterhamn or Saltsjöbaden. Buses departure from the lock (Slussen).
You get off at Solvik’s brygga at Nämdö.

Just the 'hike' up to this cottage alone is a reason to go here. Luckily Daniel came to fetch us from the ferry otherwise we would have never found it. The cottage is really cute and cosy with vintage furniture and very comfy sofa's. The deck and view are simply amazing. You have complete privacy and peace & quiet here. Kids loved their own little bunkbed-cottage. All is very complete with plenty of plates, cutlery, chairs etc. Supermarket is only the 'adventurous little hike' away and very complete. Daniel is a very nice and accomodating host. We absolutely recommend this place.
