Cozy house in the archipelago - sauna and swimming

Perhaps Gothenburg's coziest archipelago island. Known from TV "Mia på Grötö". Create new memories in this unique and family-friendly accommodation. The archipelago idyll of Grötö - a paradise for children as well as adults! A car-free island with characteristic oak forest, rugged cliffs and child-friendly sandy beaches. Here you release any stressful moments as soon as you step off the ferry down at the old steamboat pier. The island offers a fantastic and varied environment.

The accommodation is newly built since April 2022 has access to a parking, SUP and a double kayak with life jackets (40-130 kg). The house is built to resemble a barn on the outside, which should blend into the surrounding environment. Complete kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, combined washing machine and dryer. The living room has a TV, sofa, kitchen table and fireplace. Single bedroom (180 cm) with good storage areas. There is plenty of space in the loft and currently has two beds (90 cm) that can easily be placed next to each other if desired.

You will have access to the entire accommodation. The house is a semi-detached house built as a barn.

The whole island is amazing. In winter, it's winter swimming, sauna by the ocean, discovering the island or just cozying up. There is something for everything here. Lovely bathing areas for both the smallest and the largest. You can go for lovely walks in both the mountains and on the beaches. The island has a nice harbor which also has a gander harbour, a sauna and a kiosk which is open from and to during the high season.

You can get to Grötö by car ferry and passenger ferry. The accommodation includes parking on Björkö by the port of Framnäs. It is at Framnäs that you take the passenger ferry in just over 10 minutes to Grötö. The passenger ferry requires which you can buy via the app from Västtrafik (ToGo).
