The house is located on the island of Orust on the west coast. Orust offers sun, swimming, rocks and several super nice little picturesque fishing communities. Just under an hour away is Gothenburg with, Liseberg ( amusementpark) or if you go north, you have, Nordens Ark, (a park for endangered animals).

Do you want to live in a large architect-designed house in Henån, the main town on Orust. Here you are close to everything, town center with shops, restaurants, liquor store, a marina with boating, library and cultural center, tourist office, bus stop, where buses to Torp, our major shopping center with 70 stores often go.

Welcome to “Gräddhyllan”. Here is a large beautiful English architect-designed house, which is situated high and bright with wonderful views of Henån and Henåns beautiful archipelago. Here is sun all day and several outdoor areas to settle in. The plot is large and although there are houses around it, the house is located higher than the other houses, therefore that the feeling is that the house is situated a little to itself.

When you step into the house, one is struck by the great hall and the unique staircase towering towards the upper floor. On the right there is a laundry room, a guest toilet and the master bedroom with a bathroom with both shower and bath. On the left hand there is three bedrooms, one with a bunk bed, one with a double bed and one with two camp beds.

Upstairs you will enter directly into the living room, which has a lovely corner sofa and here you can go out to the patio. Then there is a large dining area, with a large table. Here you can set the table for many or perhaps play games and a jigsaw puzzle. Then you will enter in the living room, there is also a corner sofa with TV. Then one enters into the the large kitchen, which has a large dining area and all the amenities that one might need in a kitchen. Here you can also come out to a deck.

If you get tired of being in the house, you can get down to the center in several ways. Here are paths, stairs and roads. To the center you walk in about 10 minutes. By car it takes about 3 minutes. The nearest swimming area is a natural beach with small sand beach, where it is about 10 minutes walk. To the public beach is about 20 minutes walk. It works great to bike there, however, is the first 5 minutes is no cycle path but a minor road. The remaining piece is bike path/walkway to both the center and the public beach called Småholmarna. Småholmarna which consists of several small islands linked together by bridges, there is also a diving tower, restrooms and parking lots.

In the summer Orust is not only a big bathing cliff but there is also plenty of other things to do, shop for locally produced food at our various farms, meet camels and take a ride on them, go ferries to some of our car-free archipelago islands, Gullholmen and Kärringön. Eat shrimp at a cliff or walk one of our hiking trails. Go to Göksäter our "Lilla Ullared". Visit Honungsgården, Mias Sjöbod, Orust flowers with pelagon mousse and restaurant. Töllos Fårgård, Walk on the pilgrim trail that passes over the entire Orust as an eight.
