The cottage is quietly and secluded in wonderful surroundings right next to Bräkneån. The Blekingeleden between Järnavik and Ronneby passes through the property boundary and it is easy to get out on hikes or bike rides in the varied landscape. You can take a morning dip in the river below the house or cycle 2.5 km to Järnavik's campsite for a refreshing dip in the sea. Mörtströmmen is known for its pike and trout fishing, but there are also perch, ide, roach, bleak, etc. in Bräkneån as well. For those interested in paddling, there are canoes/kayaks to rent on site. It is also possible to rent a boat/kayak/canoe in Svalemåla or Järnavik. If you have your own boat, there is a launching ramp 400 meters from the house and space to put a trailer on the lot. There is a tour boat from Järnavik to Tjärö daily during the summer. Tjärö is a fantastic island with hiking trails, swimming, restaurant, accommodation and café. If you have your own boat, you can reach Tjärö harbor in 30 minutes. There are plenty of excursion destinations nearby such as Eriksberg, Ronneby Brunnspark, Hobykulle Herrgård and many more that are well worth a visit.
The cottage has two bedrooms, one with two new 80 cm beds and one room with a bunk bed. There is also a sofa bed for two in the living room which is combined with the kitchen. All windows have roller blinds for blackout. The cottage has two patios, one at the back with a roof and one at the front with an awning. There is also a barbecue, bowler, croquet and parking for several cars. The toilet has a shower and inscineration toilet.

It’s a lovely place near the river. It’s quiet . The weather was very rainy. We missed a place in the sun. The shade is al over the place, but when it,s very sunny i think you,re lucky you’re here. Lars is a friendly man. Hé known a lot about the things to do in the area. The cottage is simpele but well equipped.

It was our first holiday in Sweden and we absolutely love it! The holiday home is located in an area with beautiful nature reserves. There is a lot to do, such as kayaking, hiking and visiting nice towns. Nature is overwhelmingly beautiful. During our trips we saw deer, wild boar and even a moose. Beautiful flowers and herbs also grow in the area that are rare in the Netherlands, such as wild Thyme, St. John's Wort and Valerian. The cottage is cozy and has everything you need. The beds are good and clean and the decor is cozy and comfortable. There is also an airco for when it is very hot. The garden is very beautiful with fruit trees and wild raspberries.There is a barbeque to use. From the house you walk along the river into the beautiful nature for a walk, a swim or a picnic.The landlords Lars and Gunilla are very nice and friendly and are always ready to help or give advice. If you want to completely relax and enjoy nature, this house is definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful time at this charming summer house! It's tucked away in a calm spot by a river, which we think would be great for anyone who enjoys fishing. The house is located amidst wild raspberries and the natural beauty of the area, providing a real sense of tranquility. The hosts are just a stone's throw away and they're super friendly. They were always there when we needed help, but also respected privacy. We liked the kitchen too. While being small, it is well equipped and had all the gear we needed. In short, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat in nature, we recommend this place!
