Welcome to the lovely Duvedalen and Stockevik, close to Skärhamn.

The house is located on the island of Tjörn on the west coast. Tjörn offers sun, swimming and rocks. There are picturesque fishing communities here. It takes just under an hour to Gothenburg with, among other things, Liseberg (amusementpark) or north to Nordens Ark (zoo).

This house is big, 5 bedrooms, two living rooms and two toilets and a large garden that invites to play. Here you have all the possibilities for a wonderful holiday week and it is only a 5 minute walk to the cliffs and jetty.

THE SURROUNDINGS
Welcome to one of Tjörn's most attractive areas. Stockevik / Duvedalen is located just outside Tjörn's largest Fishing community, Skärhamn.
From Duvedalen you are close to everything Tjörn has to offer. Here are nice bikes and walkways, nice and fresh municipal bathing places. Local producers of meat, vegetable growers and berry producers and of course nice rocks and lovely baths and beautiful sunsets .

THE HOUSE
The house was built in 2013. You enter the upper floor to the hall, here is the stairs down to the basement. And you reach the kitchen directly to the left. Towards the living room you have a bathroom, then there are 2 bedrooms next to each other with windows to the north side and 2 bedrooms with windows to the west. The cozy living room has a stove, sofas and TV. Here you get out on the giant terrace via the large sliding doors.

In the basement you have a large room for play and games. Here is a TV that can be used for TV games. (games not available).

Here are also washer and dryer.
A bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

The balcony has two seating options. One with table and chairs and one where you can both sit, play cards, hang or you can also lie down and enjoy the sun. If you want shade, there is a sail to set up. Below the terrace is the lawn for play and games. A few different ball games can be borrowed. Those who are hungry for a little salad / herbs, it is fine to pick some of what is on the back in the garden.

Other - There is good parking in front of the house. 3 cars can fit.

BATHING BEACHES
Just a 5 minute walk on a path that goes between the mountains you reach a "own" bay. Here are nice rocks and a little jetty to swim from and a small sandy beach.

If you want a little speed and fan, it is only 900 meters to the swimming area in Stockevik, with a jumping tower and jetty. There is also a little stone beach for the smaller children.

Even more speed and fan, you can get if you take the bikes to Skärhamn's bathing place or Bleket. Both Skärhamn and Bleket's bathing area also have good beaches for the youngest children. In Skärhamn you can hang out all day, have lunch, go shopping, have an ice cream and enjoy soft sand between your toes.

SKÄRHAMN
Discover Skärhamn, an old fishing community with lots of life and movement.

Here you have the sea, restaurants in every corner, small cozy shops.Several bathing places and there is always a lonely cliff to soak up the sun.

Skärhamn has the Nordic Watercolor Museum and also has a wonderful restaurant right by the sea. In Skärhamn there is also a Ica store, several restaurants along the sea that have outdoor seating until late in the evening. Gym, fish shop, A wonderful bakery that has existed since time immemorial.

It is only 5 km to Klädesholmen from your cottage, which is an island that can be reached by a bridge.From Rönnäng (6 km) you take the passenger boat out to the nice car-free Dyrön and go hiking among the rocks.

BICYCLE AT TJÖRN - Bicycles are very good to bring to Tjörn. Here they have invested in super nice cycle paths, several of them go by the sea: You can cycle from the house all the way to Stenungssund. There are cycle paths by the sea and on almost only nice & safe cycle paths. In a few places you can cycle a short distance on a busy road, but the rest is a cycle path or gravel road. It is also possible to cycle to Pilane, here you have a sculpture park in a sheep pasture.

Take a trip on the Orust - The Pilgrim Trail on Orust is 80 km long and connects eight churches and is just one of many beautiful hiking trails on the island. Whiteboard honey farm where you and your children, in a very educational way, can see how the bees live and make honey. Here you will also find coffee and honey candies to buy. Right next door is & Tavlebord's country store, which functions as a market hall where local producers themselves sell their food and crafts. A day trip to car-free Gullholmen or Käringön, the ferries leave from Tuvesvik. "Fröken Trulls" (cafe, antiques...) and "Morlanda handelsträdgård" (commercial garden) are also musts when you need Orust.
