Continuing further, you can reach Skalhamn or Basteviksholmarna, where there is also a restaurant.
Every summer, the Blixten Swimrun is held in Norra Grundsund (in 2026 on July 18). Whether you participate or not, it is recommended to go out early on a calm morning and swim between and walk across the islands on your own. If it is windy, there are excellent conditions for windsurfing, foil surfing, and kitesurfing in the bay below the cottage.
