Four beds in a granary stone house, Gotland

We have rented out our old granary stone house long‑term for many years, and the house now stands empty — fully functional but not renovated in a long time. We are now opening it up for short‑term rentals on a trial basis for a couple of weeks this summer.
If you’re comfortable staying in an old stone granary with some wear and tear, worn floors and surfaces, an older kitchen and a well‑used stove—and can still take good care of the place—you are welcome to rent it.

The house has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. There is also plenty of floor space if you bring a camp bed or air mattress.

The bathroom is fully equipped with a sink, toilet, water heater, shower, and washing machine. The kitchen has a spacious fridge and freezer, as well as an older sink, stove, pots, and everyday dishes.

There is an open and pleasant living area, and French doors that open directly into the garden for enjoying the sun on the south side.

The location is leafy, green, and secluded, surrounded by meadows, and cow pastures. The granary at Öja Ollajvs is located roughly in the narrowest part of Gotland before the southern tip begins. This means you are within cycling distance of both the west and east coasts, although we recommend arriving by car. (Distance to Burgsvik, 5 km; Hamra, 3 km; Vamlingbo, 9 km; Faludden, 4 km; Öja Church, 5 km)

You should not be allergic to animals, as previous tenants have had a dog. Pets are allowed as long as they do not disturb - or are disturbed by - the cows in the nearby pastures.
Broadband with Wi‑Fi is available, but not a TV.
Available weeks 27, 28, 29, 30, or 31.
Weekly rental is currently 5600 SEK as we are testing how it works to have guests. Rental period is Sunday afternoon to Sunday morning. The house should be left cleaned and in the same condition as when you arrived.

Bed linen can be rented for 100 SEK per bed; let us know in advance if you want linen to be available.
