Welcome to a unique summer paradise on the island of Trångholmen – right in the heart of Stockholm's central archipelago. Here you live in your own castle of about 150 square meters with an accompanying guest house of about 50 square meters, surrounded by sea, cliffs and fantastic nature.

With one of the archipelago's best lake locations, close to Grinda, Svartsö, Lådna and Boda Brygga, this offers private and peaceful accommodation for those looking for recovery, swimming and long summer days in the sun.

The castle is only a few minutes walk from the island's steamboat pier where the Vaxholmsbolaget operates daily from Stockholm City, Vaxholm and Värmdö.

You can stay up to 8 people comfortably divided between the main house and the guest house.

• Cleaning is done by the tenant before departure. Cleaning can be purchased after requesting a quote and paid directly to the cleaning company.

History of the house:

The pink house is the old water tower on the island. The house was built by businessman Carl Ernst Herman Meeths as part of a model complex on the island. It was designed by an architect named Grate.

The building was originally built as a combined water tower and residential building between 1917 and 1919. It functioned as a modern facility for its time with its own drilled well and electricity plant.

It has later been completely rebuilt into a private residence and equipped with a lantern on top, which gives it its characteristic appearance reminiscent of a lighthouse.
