Soldiers cottage in Fegen National Park was built in 2014. A 15-minutes walk through private grounds to a private beach with canoes and rowing boats. Good road so it´s possible to by car to the beach. The Great Lake Fegen is known for its good fishing and swimming. The house is located within the farm area with a large separate garden. The house has got 3 separate bedrooms, a kitchen, WC/shower, and a hallway. The kitchen has got an electric stove, refrigerator, freezer and also wooden stow.
Two bedrooms are located on the second floor with a steep stairway not suitable for small children.

We had a problem. We didn't have enough water in the lake and so cant go fishing.

Dear Heino, Strange comment and I´m afraid very wrong. The lake of Fegen is one of the largest and most popular sportfishing lakes in the south of Sweden. The lake is over 30 km long from north to south and is very deep. In the north east bay where we are and where the cabin is you rented are the deepest part of the lake about 30 to 38 meters. Thats why the lake is famous for its Zander. The energi company has got permision to take out water for about 2 meters every summer to produce electricity. What they do are very controlled and measured by the athorities and by the Fegen Fishing Association that has measured this since the 1960th. It´s even more important to keep the right level of water as the lake itself is the reason why the lake and it´s surroundings was classified as a national park 15 years ago to protect the Oapray bird, living on fish. The water level decrease about two meters every summer its considerd not to have any negative impact on the fish or the Osprey.

Två sovrum var ju sovloft med en jättebrant trappa och lågt valv att ta sig igenom. Att stugan inte hade något allrum/vardagsrum skulle man väl kanske förstått på beskrivningen.
