Charming house close to the sea

Welcome to our summer paradise on the island of Vindö, in the Stockholm archipelago. This is the place to enjoy a fabulous vacation just 100 meters away from the sea. Close to a child-friendly beach. The perfect place for a quick swim before breakfast. It is close so several other bathing spots, both in the sea or in a lake. Choose the one that is best for you. The house is situated high with a private atmosphere, with the sun from morning to evening. Explore everything that Vindö has to offer or take a tour out to Sandhamn or Möja. Or why not a trip into Stockholm and visit Gröna lund or Skansen. There is a bus line close by that runs straight to Slussen with SL. Alternatively you can also drive your car the whole way.

The house, renovated in 2021, has a 55 m2 open plan design on a single floor with a nice social area. It has large windows that creates fantastic lighting giving a connection to the outdoors from the inside. From the living room, you have direct access to a veranda and patio area. It is a private area, where you can enjoy the sun from sunrise to sunset. The nature is just outside the doorstep with birds and other animal life. This is a place to relax and enjoy your vacation. If you want some exercise, there are several roads for a walk or a run.

The house has 2 bedrooms, one that can sleep up to three people with a double bed and a loft bed. The second bedroom can sleep two people in a bunk bed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC and a zink. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, stove, oven, and a microwave. The kitchen is open towards the dining area and living room. The dining area sits 6-8 people.. There is a large open fire place in the living room. Vindö is a part of Värmdö municipality in the Stockholm archipelago. It is a quiet area with a smaller community (Djurö) just ten kilometers away. There you will find a grocery store, bakery, libary and heath care facilities. Close by, you will find several restaurants and excursion destinations. At a walking distance you will find the local convenience store, Abborrkrokens Handel & Bar. In addition to some necessary groceries, here you can eat, take a glass of beer/wine in the sunset, or eat an ice-cream on the pier watching the boats sail by. Don´t miss out Glasshuset (the house of ice-cream) a nice destination especially for the kids.
