With a magical view of the sea, the The stonemason's residence. is located in Mörhult in Fjällbacka (Northern Bohuslän).

On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, as well as fridge and freezer) with a small dining area, a toilet and shower, and a hall. Access to a washing machine and dryer is available in an adjacent building.

The living room is furnished with a seating area and a larger dining area.

Wi-Fi and fibre-tv are available.

In the room on the ground floor, there is one bed, and upstairs there are four beds. A crib can be brought along.
Garden:
There is access to two patios (morning and afternoon sun).
The host family takes care of the garden and may need to pass through to reach the greenhouse or garden storage.

Sheets and towels as well as final cleaning are included.

The house is intended for a maximum of 5 people. Pets and smoking are not allowed.

WEEKLY RENTAL (Friday – Friday) throughout the year

Check-in on Fridays from 4:00 PM at the earliest or by agreement.

On the departure day (Friday), the house must be vacated by 11:00 AM at the latest or by agreement, and left according to the instructions in the cabin manual.

ACTIVITIES
Swimming: Five minutes walking from the house is a small bathing area, and near Fjällbacka centre there is Badholmen (diving tower) and Badberget (accessible for people with disabilities), and a little further away is Sälviksbadet.

In addition to the proximity to the swimming areas, there is Mörhultsskogen (behind the house), which offers a quiet, traffic-free walk with views of the sea.
Fjällbacka Golf Club is about 1 km north of the house, and about 1 km south of the property you reach Fjällbacka centre, where there is a playground and several restaurants, home decor, and fashion stores.

You can reach Vetteberget from Ingrid Bergman Square.

In the center, there is also a grocery store, fish shop, health centre, pharmacy, and library.

Boat trips depart daily during the high season from the centre into the beautiful archipelago.

On the way to the center, you pass a tennis and mini-golf course and an antique shop. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Fjällbacka centre.

To Grebbestad (north) and Hamburgsund (south), it takes about 12-15 minutes by car. There is also bus service.

You can get to the Vitlycke Museum, where there are beautiful rock carvings, by car in 15 minutes.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks at this tiny house. We enjoyed every bit of it: the location is great, the views (sunsets!) from the garden and the kitchen table are astonishing. The house has all you need (maybe too much; we don’t need 30 pillows and 15 chairs :) ). For persons taller than 1.86 (my height ) and a weak back it might be a bit challenging, as the attic with the masterbed has a low ceiling. Gustaf and Elisabeth are great hosts, that did all their best to provide us with a stay in which nothing lacks. Gustaf gave us some nice tips for site-seeing. The house sits at a walking distance (15 minutes) from the small town of Fjallbacka. And within a reach of 15- 45 minutes drive you can easily reach a number of beautiful nature reserves, for great hiking. Some other reviewers “complain” about the road that runs along the house. Yes, during daytime this might give some noise; if you are looking for complete quietness, this might be an issue. Overall: certainly worth the 5 stars.

Vi leide huset en uke. Det ligger forholdsvis sentralt til; 10 min gange inn til sentrum, men store deler av veien er uten fortau - så vanskelig om man har barn og ikke vil benytte bil inn til sentrum. Hagen er hyggelig, men har gjerdet mot hovedveien inn til Fjällbacka som har mye (!) trafikk nesten hele døgnet, så det var forstyrrende, også om kvelden/morgenen når man sover. Huset ligger på samme tomt og har samme hage som eieren, som var hjemme hele leieperioden, hvilket gjør det hele mindre privat og man kan fort føles seg litt overvåket. Dette bør fremkomme godt av annonsen for fremtidige leietakere. Huset er godt utstyrt. Andre etasjen med de fleste senger er litt trang og veldig lav takhøyde.

Vi har tidigare inte besvarat omdömen från gäster som hyrt vår stuga utan utgående från framförda synpunkter arbetat med att förbättra boendet där vi kan påverka. I detta fall göra vi ett undantag. Att stugan ligger vid en väg framgår av annonsen. Anvisningarna i stugpärmen anger att fönster ska stängas, dynor ska läggas i dynboxar när stugan lämnas m.m. Trots muntlig information att det var stor risk för åskskurar stängdes inte fönstren i övervåningen när ni lämnade stugan vilket resulterade i att det regnade in när 33 mm regn föll under ca. 30 minuter. Vi var hemma och kunde stänga fönstren och torka upp vattnet på golvet. Eltändfunktionen på gasolgrillen slutade också att fungera p.g.a. att grillen inte var övertäckt enl. anvisningar. AC ingår inte i hyreskostnaden varför vi gjorde en muntlig överenskommelse om en tilläggskostnad. Ni lämnade stugan utan att informera oss och erlägga överenskommen tilläggskostnad. Vi kan, p.g.a. ert agerande, inte rekommendera er som hyresgäst.
