Large verndah with partial sea view to the west during winter and wonderful sunsets. Soft and gentle natural surroundings with much bird life. Path to the sea takes four minutes and opens onto the Stora Skipås Nature Reserve which stretches far north and south. Outstandingly beautiful walking paths along the shoreline in an unspoilt natural setting.
There are two sandy beaches with long, shallow child friendly bathing areas. For adults wishing to do snorkelling, deeper water is availble with good entry and exit points, and several small islands are easily within swimming reach.
The kithchen is large, light and modern and has a table seating 6, though this can be streched to 8 persons. Dishwasher, washing machine, tumbledryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and cermic hob are available. External gas grill available. Free fibre-optic broadband available.
Nearest village is Steninge (approx 2km south) with Göstas Café (open summer only) which serves coffe, tea, ice cream, food and light drinks. They also have occasional traditional music events. The Skepparstugan restaurant is close by. Closest food store is in Haverdal (approx 4km south) or Getinge (approx 6km east).
There are many excellent golf courses within 20 km of the house – nearest are Halmstad (Tylösand), Holms (Kvibille) and Haverdal.
The house is good for occupation in all seasons and is available to hire throughout the year. Each season has of course its particular areas of beauty, and the Steninge area is particularly blessed in this regard.
Getting there by car:
Take exit 47 on the E6. Drive west towards Steninge as far as the coast road. At the T-junction turn right and travel north along the coast road for about 2 km till you reach the busstop at the Skipås sign. Turn right here and after about 20m, turn righ tagain into the first road, called Södra Ledvägen. The house is number 6, and is the third house on the right.
