The house is situated in a silent and peaceful area without close neigbours but still you will reach BRANÄS skiresort, with lots of activities wintertime, within 10 minutes by car.
Your chances to see an elk or even the tracks of lynx, bears and wolves in the forest behind the house are good. You may also take peacefully walks or even a tour on the kick-sled on the small road.
Summertime you will find good fishing waters, forests with lots of wild berries, timber-raft trips on the klarälven, hiking trails, elk- and beaversafari, ridingtours in the forest, hills with magnificent views, homested museum and a lot of other activities. You may also make a daytrip to Norway (boarder 50 km) and to Trysil 100 km. The house has fully equipped kitchen,open fire, washmachine and drytumbler,refrigerator, freezer,micro, TV, DVD, video, radio with CD. No bunk beds. A cottage with 2-3 beds is available during summertime, pict 5. Pets are allowed. No smoking in the house. Bathingplace,shop,doktor, 5 km. High-chair, 4 kick-sleds, canoe, boat and 3-4 bicycles incl. The owner speaks english and german and will help you with the information you need to make your stay enjoyable.

From the south of Sweden: From Gothenburg road E45 to Torsby and further to Stöllet. From Stöllet road 62 in direction Branäs, Sysslebäck,Trysil about 20 km to Likenäs. Turn left in direction Hjällstad over the river and left again. Go 3 km to the sign "Västby" and 250 m further you find a white house to your right.
