There isn’t a better summer cottage for rental! Undisturbedly, green location. Very suitable for children. All the persons rented the houses have given excellent marks for houses, equipment and surroundings as well.
There are spacious halls at the ground floor, with two separate shower rooms with toilet, a well-equipped modern kitchen with a hob, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, a fridge and freezer, a dining room and a TV-room, two bedrooms with bunk beds, a laundry-room and a boiler room.
There is a glass-enclosed veranda facing south, with a sandbox and a swing quite close to. Barbeque facilities. The upper floor has a hall, a toilet, a living room/extra bedroom with bunk beds and two separate bedrooms with double-beds. Accordingly there are in total 8 beds in the house.
By car you quickly reach several bathing beaches, Läckö Castle, the fishing village Spiken, Kinnekulle, Skara Summer park, Fame World. The nearest bathing bay of Vänern, which is also suitable for picnics, is called Sandvik and is situated only 3 km from the farm. There is a fantastic, long sand beach, called the “Riviera of Vänern” 7 km from the farm. Around Skalunda there are lots of nice biking and walking paths.
Lidköping is a wonderful summer town, with a harbour, nice esplanades, lively shopping, restaurants and cafés, and a hospital for emergency treatment. There is also a tempered bathe, museum and Rörstrand that still has its famous sales of china here. The city park is very beautiful. Lidköping also has one of the largest market places in Europe, with extensive market trade twice a week.
We who rent the farm will be your closest neighbours, 250 m far away, we run a beautiful horse farm with large enclosed pastures, grazing-grounds and a riding ground.
Of course you are welcome to visit our stable to see our 6 horses. One horse is a shetlandspony that you can rent. We also have two cats – Tim and Tej. Our boys are 8, 7 and 5 years old.
