Welcome to Sjövik, a small village nearby the wonderful lake Mjörn! We are located 35km from lively Göteborg and within a short drive from charming small town of Alingsås.
The modern cottage is newly refurbished in 2012 and is accommodating up to 4 comfortably (42sqm). The property is for weekly rentals all year round.
The spacious living room with a pull out sofa bed for two and a large kitchen table is attendant on the modern open plan kitchen with fridge and electric stove/oven. The bathroom has a shower, WC and washbasin. The separate bedroom includes 2 single beds. Satellite television including.
There is a possibility to rent out towels (100kr/6 no.), bed linen (100kr/per Person) and 2 bicycles (200kr/each).
The final cleaning has to be done by the lodger, or can be provided by the owner (500kr).
Distances: 100m to the bus stop (to Göteborg in 60min and to Alingsås in 45min).

700m to the lake Mjörn, which is the second largest lake (55sqm) in Västergötland. It is rich in fish, like pike, perch, pike-pirsch, eel, carp and trout. A fishing permit is required and can easily be acquired nearby.
1200m to a beautiful bathing spot ”Prästens brygga”, with it’s soft sand, blanket granite rocks and shady pine trees.
Sjövik is adjacent to the nature preserve “Risveden”, which is the largest (20’000ha) cohesive forest in west Sweden. The area is with its several lakes, rural areas, and especially because of its rich flora and fauna unrivalled. It’s a paradise for gathering mushrooms.
10km to the vintage train Anten-Gräfsnäs, a 12km long narrow gauged train from the early 20th Century.
The owner oft he property are speaking German, Swedish and English and are happy to help out with any questions about the area and touristic activities.
