miles and close to a lake! Near Isaberg, High Chaparall, Store Mosse etc.
An old cottage, all renovated and extended to a high standard. The cottage is situated
in a scenic area with many lakes.

The cottage is elevated with a wonderful view over amongst others the lovely Lake
Stengårdshultssjön, where there also is a swimming spot and a boat available. Access
to several forest lakes with boats for fishing is avaliable too at the owner’s farm
4.5km from the cottage. Nice berry and mushroom picking areas. 20km to southern
Sweden's largest skiing facilities at Isaberg.
30 minutes to High Chaparall and Store Mosse. Easily accessible day excursions to
Astrid Lindgren’s World, the Kingdom of Crystal, Gränna and Visingsö.
Find us:
From Malmö to Helsingborg, then E4 north passing Ljungby, Värnamo to
Skillingaryd S (30 km after Värnamo) where you turn off. Then drive towards
Hillerstorp, Bredaryd by the next side road. Drive about 2 km and then turn to
Öreryd, Nyholm. Continue to the next signs towards Öreryd, Nyholm where you
turn left (Valdshultsvägen). Continue straight ahead 18 km (towards Öreryd,
Nyholm). when you reach the sign saying STENGÅRDSHULT 9, you turn right.
*After 2 kilometer you have reached Eriksgård which is on the left side after an old
cowhouse.

150 m further ahead are two yellow houses. We live in the big house. You pick up
the key at our place. If we happen not to be at home, we will open your house and
hang the key inside the door.
To come to Styrshult you continue further 5 km from there, passing two lakes. A
few hundred metres after the big lake you reach a three-road-crossing with signs
towards Stengårdshult and Bondstorp. Just before the crossing is the house on the
hill to the right.

You can also drive from Helsingborg to Halmstad where you take road 26 towards
Jönköping. Drive through Hyltebruk, Gislaved, passing Hestra (Isaberg), and
continue passing Öreryd. Just after that you see a sign towards Valdshult,
Skillingaryd, where you take right. Also take right by the next signs towards
Valdshult, Skillingaryd. Drive through Valdshult and continue 8 more km. There you
reach a sign saying STENGÅRDSHULT 9 where you take to the left. Continue with
the description above *.
From Varberg you drive road 153 towards Ullared and further to Skeppshult where
you reach road 26. From there you take north towards Jönköping. Drive road 26
through Smålandsstenar, passing Gislaved, Hestra (Isaberg), further passing
Öreryd. Just after that you see a sign towards Valdshult, Skillingaryd, where you
take right. Also take right by the next signs towards Valdshult, Skillingaryd. Drive
through Valdshult and continue 8 more km. There you reach a sign saying
STENGÅRDSHULT 9 where you take to the left. Continue with the description above

From Göteborg (Gothenburg) you drive road 40 to Borås. From Borås you drive
road 27 towards Växjö. After about 40 km you turn off towards Limmared.
Continue to Nittorp and further towards Grimsås and Hestra. Before you reach
Hestra there is a sign towards Jönköping and road 26 to the left, where you turn
off. When you come to road 26 you take left towards mot Jönköping. Drive about 4
km, pass Öreryd and just after that you see a sign towards Valdshult, Skillingaryd
where you take right. Also take right by the next signs towards Valdshult,
Skillingaryd. Drive through Valdshult and continue 8 more km. There you reach a
sign saying STENGÅRDSHULT 9 where you take to the left. Continue with the
description above *.
If you come from the north you drive E4 south from Jönköping towards Skillingaryd
and turn off by its southern entrance. Then follow description above (from Malmö).
