Charming, traditional holiday house with sauna.
Welcome to our wonderful traditional Swedish holiday house.
The original part was built in the mid 1800 on the main land. It was then moved to this secluded part of the Island Orust in the 1950-s.
It has been added to over the years and modernised. It now consists of a kitchen with a cooker, microwave oven, coffee maker, full size fridge, radio and the original wood fire.
The large sitting room is open up to the eves and has an open fire, TV and DVD player.
A glassed in veranda were you can eat your dinner under candle light. And a large, open, south west facing veranda with seating and a BBQ.
There is a spacious utility room with a washing machine a tumble dryer, iron and an ironing board. There is also a freezer for all the Icecream!
The sauna is new and sits 7.
There are two bedrooms, one up stairs with a double bed and the other down stairs with two single beds. You can also sleep 2 in the large sitting room.
There is a guest house, with a double bed, that can be seperated, and one single bed with a kitchenette. The house is heated, has electricity and is close to the main house. We have also just put in a modern out house toilet, "mulltoa" so you don''t have to run into the WC in the house at night.
We will only allow 6 people to stay at one time, however you may sleep were you like!
We are a young family that own this house so are set up for families with all sorts of toys, games, films and music.
There is a travel cot, stair gate, baby chair and a baby bouncer.
Out doors there is a skateboard ramp so don’t forget your skateboard!
The house is situated surrounded by forest on 1277m2 of land. We are not over looked at all it is
very private in a very un-built up area.
The sea is a lovely 7 minute walk through the forest. The stones are flat there is some sandy beach and a jetty, perfect for spending long summer days. You can also drive down to another bathing spot, 5 minutes away.
We have a sheep farm 5 minute walk up the road that serve Swedish coffee and cakes all summer and a shop that sells fresh meat, vegetables and sheep skin shoes and such like items.
We are located on the North West tip of the island Orust close to Slussen and Henån about 1 hour away from Gothenburg.
