This is a custom built timber cottage with unique accommodation, atmosphere
and style and a beautiful outlook over the lake Siljan
Accommodation comprises: large fully equipped kitchen, big open plan living
room and traditional style open fireplace. There are three bedrooms one
double bedroom and two with bunk beds, 6 beds in total. The bathroom
(shower) enjoys a sauna en-suite and a washing machine. Cottage is
approximately 110 m2 and the standard of finish throughout is to a very high
quality.
The cottage is situated in a large south-west facing plot in an area of
natural beauty with the lake, 100m from the veranda. There is a jetty for
swimming, a canoe, garden furniture and grill. There are five other
cottages, each in their own estate scattered nearby and the whole area is
surrounded by forest on three sides with the lake facing
Only 7 km to the ski slopes of Gesunda Mountain with 11 pistes. Santa World
theme park is also located at Gesunda. The whole area offers landscapes of
highly proclaimed natural beauty, with attractions to suit young and old
alike including an 18-hole Golf course, lake fishing, public beach (3km),
summer restaurant, village shops (3km) etc.
The town of Mora (13km) is famed for the Vasaloppet, the classic cross
country ski race held each year and the museum and home of Sweden’s famous
painter, Anders Zorn.
Also in easy traveling distance, other attractions include: Orsa Bear Park Grönklitt ,
Leksand Summmerland water attraction (children activity Park),Rättvik’s Summer rodel. Dalhalla (outdoor concert Hall built in the natural surroundings of a
disused lime quarry), Nusnäs (world famous manufacture of hand painted
Dalarna wooden horses)and much more.
Beautiful nature is attractive in any season during the year and the
location is ideal for children.
