Lakeside location! Nice for children and dogs.

"As soon as I get to the top and see Lake Sommen spread out like a glittering painting, the calm washes over me. I put aside all that is troublesome. This is my best place on earth."

In an attempt to convey the feeling I feel for Rönnäs and the entire area around Lake Sommen, I wrote these lines.
Must be experienced to understand.

Here is now the opportunity as I rent out a cosy and fresh cottage on a large lake plot. Two swimming spots nearby.
Sommen is a deep lake with clear water.

The cottage has two bedrooms with a total of 5 berths.
Bedroom 1: Double bed 180cm
Bedroom 2: One single bed 90cm and one bunk bed with two 90cm berths.
It is possible to sort out a spare mattress if you need another berth.

Living room with large sofa and TV.

Large conservatory with dining table and wood burner. Free firewood! Lovely view over the lake.
Patio in connection to the conservatory.

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and micro.

Bathroom with shower and WC.

Washing machine and tumble drier in the basement.

Highchair available.

Wi-Fi available.

Small patio by the entrance, with tables and chairs together with a barbeque.

Lovely plot with plenty of room for games. Fenced with a wooden fence, good for families with children and dogs.

The cottage is near two swimming spots, it takes about 2 - 3 minutes to walk.
As we also own the white cottage just below this one, you have access to a private jetty and swimming spot. This provided that no one else rents the white cottage.

Coop Österbymo: 23 minutes by car
Ydregården: 22 minutes by car. Good food and miniature golf
Restaurant Torpön: 37 minutes by car. Good food and nice ice cream.
Tranås Golf Club: 38 minutes by car. Very nice food at the restaurant.


There are many nice sights and viewpoints nearby, such as:
Torpön ferry station with a nature room and a high-altitude course.
Ångbåten Boxholm II (steamboat)
Ydregården
Ydre motor museum
Emigrantmuseum in Asby

During winter you can go skiing in Asby backe.

Circa 1 hour by car to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren´s World.

Rönnäs is a calming place to be. People come here to get energy, socialize, and enjoy the surroundings.

Rental rules

For rent to adults over 25 and families with children.
Adult dogs are fine to bring. The requirement is that they don´t bite and/or pee inside.
No smoking in the cottage. You can smoke outside if you pick up all the butts.

Cleaning of the cottage before your departure is available to buy for a fee of SEK 1,200. Otherwise, you clean and leave the cottage as it was when you rented it.

I would like to have personal contact with the person responsible for renting the cottage. Then we can agree on what time we can meet for check-in.

N.B! We take SEK 1,000 as a deposit. If everything is in order after your stay, you will get the deposit back.
