Holiday home close to a lake

Cozy little cabin on a small hill with wonderful views of the meadows and near an idyllic lake with swimming areas (the lake can be seen from parts of the yard). The cabin is 89 m2 and has water, toilet and electricity. Air source heat pump / AC. There are 6 beds.

There are two bedrooms, with a double bed in each. There is a fresh and functional kitchen from the 70’s with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and a dining area for 3-4 people. The fully tiled bathroom has underfloor heating, washing mashine, shower, and windows towards the forest.

In one section of the living room there is a dining table with seating for 6-10 people (depending on whether the extension plate is used).

In the other section of the living room there is a sofa bed (2 sleeps), an armchair, and a wood burning stove that really keeps things warm in winter – firewood is available for use at purchase prize.

It is lovely to sit in the glassed living room and gaze out over the meadows and listen to the birds sing.

There is also outdoor a terrace with furniture and equally lovely views. A grill is available.

The lake (called “Sillen”) has two very nice bathing places nearby, of which the nearest is about 300 m from the house. A boat can be borrowed at extra cost.

The cabin is located in Hundby outside Gnesta, which is just under an hour’s drive from Stockholm. The nearest towns are Gnesta (13 kilometers) and Vagnhärad (12 kilometers).

The cabin is surrounded by beautiful Södermanland nature and great berry and mushroom forests.

Smoking and animals are NOT allowed in the cabin.

Rented mainly by the week, but longer or shorter periods can be discussed.
